Media students invited to the US for PG program
Missouri State University (MSU), the long-established university of mid-west US, has invited applications for undergraduate program under the Department of Media, Journalism and Film. A degree in media and film studies gives students opportunities to hone their communication, creative, analytical, and critical thinking skills, which are essential in many career fields. Mastering critical studies skills prepares students to succeed in graduate school and many careers in media or communication. Any student with a (10+2) certificate in senior secondary education with high GPA, ACT score of 24 or SAT score of 1180 and IELTS score of 5.5 or TOEFL score of 61 can apply. Japan calling at D. Y. Patil School of Engineering
An exciting workshop was conducted in D. Y Patil School of Engineering (DYPSOE), Pune to sensitize the students the advantages of learning the Japanese language and opportunities of living and working in Japan. It is either for further education or employment or both. Kohinoor International Management Institute connects to the UK
Kohinoor International Management Institute (KIMI), Khandala, signed MoU with University College Birmingham (UCB), UK. The motive behind it is to increase academic progression of KIMI students and to create advance entry route for the students onto a related undergraduate degree programme taught at UCB. Saint Peter's University launches Master of Science in cyber security
Saint Peter's University, New Jersey launches a program called Master of Science in 'Cyber Security'. This program will provide students with the advanced skills needed to help protect and defend information systems from cyber-attacks. The two area of focus are - information systems security and assurance and secondly the cyber security and computer forensics.
B.Tech Programme for aspiring engineering students
Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC) announces admissions to the fourth batch of its 4-year B.Tech programme at the Hyderbad campus for the academic session of 2017-21. Around 240 seats are on offer and 60 each in specializations of Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The students who have a 10+2 or equivalent from any statutory board with 60 per cent aggregate marks in all subjects or equivalent grade for the students from IB or other approved Board are eligible to apply for the seats.
