Modi's sweep in next LS poll

Thursday, October 11, 2018

It is difficult to accept that Akhilesh Yadav, whose party was very close to the Congress, has broken away from his close friend Rahul Gandhi. His party will not be in the opposition which was aiming to remain in a united front against the Narendra Modi's BJP. And now the communists also will be out of the so-called united front of about 30 big and small opposition parties. Communist leaders, who are usually found to be intellectuals, have perhaps realised that there is no point rallying behind the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. More top leaders in the Opposition are no longer keen about the united front plan in the next Lok Sabha elections. Mamata Bannerjee is facing BJP's strong move to throw out her party in her own state. BJP's President Amit Shah is creating a lot of problems which she cannot ignore. When the great “plan” began to throw out the BJP in the elections, she was seen going over all the country planning for the move. Now she has stopped all that as she has to devote time to ensure own survival in Bengal.

What the Opposition parties do not want to do is to make an effort to understand and accept the hold PM Modi has over the people of this country. Wherever BJP has stood for election, it has won. Modi holds rallies which attracts lakhs of people and then in the elections, he wins.

Rahul Gandhi, President of the Congress, cannot take him on. This has been proved again and again. People have shown that Rahul Gandhi can never become the prime minister. No leader of the Opposition can take on Narendra Modi. A big win is certain for the BJP in the next Lok Sabha elections.
