Modi again

Tuesday, March 12, 2019

WHICH party has the best chance to win in the election to the Lok Sabha. The election is to be held in 7 phases, the last polling date being on May 19.

The big question is: will the  Narendra Modi of the BJP continue to hold on to power or will he be ousted? The result in this general election will depend who will hold on to power in the next five years. Somehow, the opposition parties are becoming more confident than before. The concept of "Ghatabandhan" is once again gaining ground. There will be strong campaign by them from now on. In the next few days, we will know whether prime minister Narendra Modi will attract support enough to get him once gain as the successful BJP chief.

Among other parties, there is none other who has people's support as much as Modi. And he has no worthwhile opposition. Consider other leaders in the fray and assess their popularity. It can be seen Modi stands far ahead. None of the leaders in the opposition has the merit of Modi. His last five years has done the country good and enhanced his popularity. Modi continues to be popular. The BJP is certain the country will vote for Narendra Modi again. The Congress says it is time for change but is the change to get Rahul Gandhi back. The truth is there is no leader as popular and capable as Narendra Modi. In most states, Narendra Modi will get majority vote.
