A 'bloody' attack

Thursday, July 13, 2017

Can Prime Minister Narendra Modi be held responsible for the killing of every Amarnath pilgrims? The PM was directly held responsible by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for “spilling the blood of innocent people”. The killing of the yatriks has nothing to do with Narendra Modi. “What is Modi's gain is a loss to India.”

Rahul Gandhi was blaming the BJP-PDP alliance government but he chose Narendra Modi as the main target. Two days after the horrible tragedy, when people had united against terror, Rahul Gandhi launched a “bloody” attack on the Prime Minister. He said the BJP's Kashmir policy was wrong and that was seen in the happening at Amarnath. In so many words, Rahul Gandhi, vice-President of the Congress observed that “the gain of Narendra Modi was a loss to India”. He was of the view that with a changed Kashmir policy, killings of Amarnath pilgrims could have been avoided. What Rahul Gandhi perhaps wants is India to withdraw from Kashmir completely. The Congress politician does not seem to appreciate is the fact Kashmir is changing, and the situation there is not what it was just 10 years ago. Rahul Gandhi is well known for his “bloody” comments and it is not always that he is taken seriously.
