Strange best friends

Wednesday, January 10, 2018

Donald Trump must be the head of state in history to have to publicly defend his mental stability! In the face of a new tell-all biography (unauthorized, of course), which suggest that he is mentally unstable (what’s new, you ask!), the US President declared on social media that he is “a stable genius”.

We all know that modesty is not exactly the man’s forte but to actually call yourself a genius is something else! And, pray, how does he justify his genius? He says that he was a super successful businessman and a super successful TV star before he became US President – a role he evidently fancies himself being super successful at as well.

In case you thought this was just the delusionary rant of a semi-senile 70-something, he has found a supporter in British premier Teresa May. She came to his rescue saying she finds him balanced and stable in all their discussions and she believes he truly has the best interests of the United States at heart.

With all the criticism they are facing in their respective countries, Trump and Teresa would understandably bond in sympathy and solidarity with each other. But who’s impressed?
