Bollywoodians on a Spanish holiday

Wednesday, July 04, 2018

Guess who was in Spain over the last weekend? No less than three Bollywood families – Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan with their kids, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra with their son and director Farah Khan with her three little ones! Also seems that Shilpa and Farah, who’re buddies, bumped into each other at a Barcelona beach music concert and Farah also participated in one of Shilpa’s famous Sunday binges. This week Shilpa had a sinful apple crepe tart with vanilla ice cream and dulce de leche which is similar to caramel during her Spanish binge. Farah, meanwhile, proudly showcased the fact that she was staying at a Barcelona Airbnb holiday home even as she showed her two girls and little boy around the sights of Spain --  from the FC Barcelona stadium, to the churches (where they discovered the power of prayer), to the beaches of Marbella as well as the Roman forts of Andalusia. Gauri Khan proudly posted a picture of her “boys” – SRK, Aryan and AbRam soaking in the Barcelona sun besides a Mercedes parked near (what appeared to be) a pavement, barely a day after the family had attended the luxurious engagement bash of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta in south Mumbai. Another pic showed Shah Rukh and daughter Suhana taking in the sunny Spanish seaside locale with the caption ‘sun-kissed’ written across it. Are they hearing the strains of that delightful Madonna song, ‘La Isla Bonita’, wafting in then?
