“Bala” is coming to hit four and sixers
A Marathi film based on the topic of cricket titled ‘Bala’, produced under the banner of “Yash and Raj Entertainment” and written and directed by Sachindra Sharma, is set to release on 3rd May all over Maharashtra, with a flurry of big hitting fours and sixes. The first look of the film was recently unveiled at a function held in Mumbai. This time round, the cricket fever is everywhere and even in the fervour of elections, the cricket fans are enjoying the IPL cricket matches. After IPL, the World Cup fever will be around. “Bala” stars Upendra Limaye, Kranti Redkar, Vikram Gokhale, Suhasini Mulye, Kamlesh Sawant and debutant Mihiresh Joshi. It is produced by Rakesh Singh. The co-producer is Madhu Singh, while Executive producer is Ajay Singh. The lyrics are by Vijay Gamre and the music has been scored by Mahesh Rakesh.

“Will someone give me a bride”
The first look of Y D Films’ Marathi film “Bayko Deta Ka Bayko” (Will someone give me a bride), presented through a wedding card, was released on Gudi Padwa in Mumbai. The film produced by Dhananjay Yampure is directed by Suresh Thanage. The film seeks to depict anxiety of a youth in search of a good looking bride. The first look of the film threw light on personality of the anxious youth. The family entertainer comedy film is expected to regale the patrons in this wedding season.

Marathi film “Savat”
Model and actress Shwetambari Ghute will be playing central character in forthcoming Marathi film “Savat” being produced by Hitesha Deshpande, Smita Tambe and Shobita Mangalik and directed by Saurabh Sinha. Shweta has acted in many films and albums including Black Ticket Productions’ Tamil film “Ra”, Girish Jambhalikar’s short film “Untitled Soundclip”, Star Pravah’s TV sop “Nakushi” and album “Ghor Andhera”. On being getting this role, she said that she was thrilled to act in “Savat” which has shades of suspense and the role is certain to give a boost to her career.
