Pankaj Udhas charity concert
Ghazal Maestro Padamshree Pankaj Udhas will present "Nayaab Lamhe" a Live Musical Concert for a noble cause to raise funds for Thalassemic children, on Saturday 2nd March 2019 at Nehru Centre Auditorium, Worli at 7.00 pm. The Concert will feature his hit Ghazals, Nazms and film songs.

Triveni cultural-fest
The festivals-“Gati” and “Smuti Kusumanjali” are being organised as part of “Triveni Cultural Festival” by Dr Sandhya Purecha’s Sarfoji Raje Bhosale Centre on 27 February at P L Deshpande auditorium at Ravindra Natya Mandir, on the occasion of Marathi Bhasha Din. Over 81 classical danseuses will pay tributes to their Gurus.

Madhukar Todarmal
A special program “Todarmal-Natyaroop Darshan”, dedicated to veteran actor/playright Madhukar Todarmal will be organised on 2 March at 6 pm at Dadar Matunga Cultural Centre. Todarmal had adapted and translated several English plays in Marathi. The program has been conceptualised by Upendra Date.

'Ti and Ti' movie shot in Great Britain
Marathi film “Ti and Ti”, co-produced by Vaishal Shahdirected by Mrunal Kulkarni is scheduled to hit cinema screens on 8 March. It is a romantic-comedy, starring Pushkar Jog, Sonalee Kulkarni, Prarthana Behere and Siddharth Chaandekar, in prominent roles. The story revolves around teenager Anay who falls in love when he is in 4th standard. However, he is unsuccessful in his mission. Still he remembers that girl life long. Eventually he meets her. The film has been shot on picturesque locations of (Great Britain) England.

‘Aamhi Befikar’
A trailer of Marathi film “Aamhi Befikar”, slated to be released on 8 March, was launched. The movie which focuses on college life, dwells upon people who lose a lot in order to gain more and more experience and dream again with different dreams. The film co-produced by Nagesh Mishra, is directed by Kavishwar Marathe. Suyog Gorhe, Mitali Mayekar, Rahul Patil, Swapnil Kale and Akshay Hadake are in important roles. Suyog and Mitali are making their debut through this film.

Theatre-usher becomes ‘Hero’
The Marathi film “Rocky” is scheduled to be released all over Maharashtra on 8 March. The official teaser of the film was recently unveiled by Ahmed Khan. The film has been co-produced by Prashant and is directed by Adnan-bhai Shaikh. The debutant Sandeep Salve is playing the central role. In fact he was working as an ‘usher’ in Amar Theatre in Chembur in 2003. Akshaya Hindalkar, Ashok Shinde, Pradip Velankar, Yatin Karyekar, Kranti Redkar, Ganesh Yadav, Vinit Sharma,Swapnil Rajshekhar and Dipti Bhagwat are in important roles. “Rocky” plays a muscular man who falls in love with a girl. He can’t bear injustice. This brings a tragic turn in his life. Now he comes face-to-face with the evil politician Nana (Rahul Dev).
