Sangit Mahabharati
Sangit Mahabharati – Pandit Nikhil Ghosh Shatabdi Mahotsav - The celebration of 100 years of Pt. Nikhil Ghosh who is a legendary figure in Indian Classical Music fraternity. On this occasion Pt. Kumar Bose is going to perform with Rohen Bose, his Nephew, The duo is going to share the stage first time in Mumbai on Friday from 8.30pm. Pt. Nikhil Ghosh is one of the most influential people to establish Indian classical music in Mumbai. The institute that he had established Sangeet Mahabharati is one of the most reputed musical institutions in the country. It’s started on January 17-19, 2019 in Sangeet Mahabharata Amphi Theatre.

Marathi Tarka
The 11th anniversary of entertaining program ‘Marathi Tarka’, featuring Marathi actresses was recently organised in Mumbai. Till now over 500 shows of the program conceptualised by Producer/Director Mahesh Tilekar, have been held in Dubai, USA, London. In fact the program, which has given proper recognition to Marathi actresses, has travelled from Siachen to Andaman to Dubai. The then President of India had appreciated the program when it was held in Rashtrapati Bhavan in 2008. A host of artists including Birju Maharaj, Rekha, Madhuri Dixit and Wahida Rehman and veteran politician Sharad Pawar have watched the program in which the actresses present the dances sequences performed by artists for the last six generations.

Music launch of Asood
The music of the Govind Production’s forthcoming Marathi film Asood, scheduled to be released on February 8 was launched at the hands of Maharashtra Minister of State for Home Dr. Ranjit Patil at a function organised in Mumbai. The music for the film has been scored by Anu Malik. In the launch ceremony the trailer of the film was screened and the invitees were shown the glimpse of the songs. The film focuses on the story of a youth who lambasts ‘irresponsible’ social system, due to which sensitive issues like farmers’ woes remain unresolved. The film has been produced by Dr Deepak More and it is directed by Nilesh Jalamkar. The playback has been provided by Sonu Nigam, Adarsh Shinde, Divya Kumar and Anmol Malik.

Perfume’s music launch
The music of the Amol Kagane Films’ forthcoming Marathi film Perfume, scheduled to be released on March 1, was launched at the hands of Additional Commissioner of Police Sandip Karnik and Special Officer, Health, Transport and State Excise, Maharashtra Government Sharad Khade at a function organised in Mumbai. The film has been presented by Amol and Laxman Kagane, while it has been produced by H R Filmdom’s Dr Hemant Dixit and Omkar Dixit. Omkar, Monalisa, Chinmay Mandlekar, Abhijit Chavan, Sayaji Shinde, Anil Nagarkar, Kamlesh Sawant, Bhagyashri Nhalve, Heena Panchal are in important roles.

Marathi film Youth-Tube release on Feb 1
Shital (Shivani Bavkar) (Lagira Zhala Ji) and Sonia (Purnima Dey) (Tula Pahate Re) will be seen in the forthcoming Marathi film “ Youth-Tube” scheduled to be released on 1st February. The film deals with changing life style of youth addicted to social media. It resolves around 7 young couple. The film has been directed by Pramod Prabhulkar and nearly 300 fresh faces learning in Miracle Acting Academy run by Pramod and Madhurani Prabhulkar will be seen in the superhit film. Shivani and Sonia are both the students of Miracle Academy of Acting. Music is by Pankaj Padghan.
