‘Ek Sangaaichay..Unsaid Harmony’
The music and trailer of the Marathi film “Ek Sangaaichay..Unsaid Harmony”, scheduled to be released on 16 November was recently launched The film seeks to throw light on the changing psychology of children and parents. Actor K K Menon is making a debut in Marathi through this film which also features promising actress Rajeshwari Sachdev. Lokesh Vijay Gupte  has directed the film and has also handled editing. Lyrics-Jitendra Joshi, Music-Shailendra Barve.

‘Malaa Aai Whaaichay’ now in Hindi
The Hindi remake of Marathi film “Mala Aai Whaichay” (I want to become a Mother), based on surrogacy, will be made by Amar Kaushik (Director) and Dinesh Vijan (Producer), who had recently produced the film “Stree”. Surrogacy is almost banned in India. “Malaa Aai Whaaichay”, made in 2011 had bagged many awards. Now the story of the Hindi film will be written by Samruddhi Porey, the producer of “Mala Aai Whaichay”

 Sadhana swarotsav
'Sadhana'. a two day festival of music featuring wonder-women artistes will be held by  'Iyer Foundation' at Veer Savarkar Smarak Auditorium on Friday 19 and Saturday 20th Oct. It will include Bharatnatyam recital by Arundhati Shrinivasan, solo tabla by Mukta Raste,vocal by Sonal Shivkumar on 19th On 20th Oct. Vasanti Shrikhande will give a solo sarangi recital and the festival will conclude with a vocal recital by Dr Jyothi Iyer.

Musical full moon night where Indian Classical Musicians Bharathi Pratap (Vocal), Sabir Khan (Sarangi) & Jayateerth Mevundi (Vocal) will take the stage to celebrate Sharad Poornima in the concert titled ‘Dhaval Nisha’(In the 13th year) organised by Pancham Nishad on Wedn, 24th October , 6.00 p.m. at Nehru Centre, Worli
 
Hindustani sangeet mehfil
Veer Savarkar Samaj Kalyan Kendra and Swara Mouli Sansthan presented an evening of Hindustani music by two talented vocalists, Chhaya Sakhare and Ananda Upakash at the Savarkar Hall in Vileparle (E),last Sunday. Chhaya Sakhare is the ardent disciple of Dr Prabha Atre and is also an actress, teacher and playback singer.  Chhaya created a fine impression with her melodious and commendable voice The singers were accompanied on the tabla by Praveen K and Abhishek K on harmonium and shishya Sunita Chauhan on tanpura.

Natya Parishad—final round
The final round of popular one act play contest organised by Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Natya Parishad will be held on 24 October from 10 am onwards at Yashwant Natya Mandir, Matunga. The results will be announced on the same day. Seven plays were selected in preliminary rounds  They are: “Vivar” (Mulund), “Rasta” (Solapur), “Digarshak” (Nagpur), “To Tee Aani Natak” ( Nashik), “Tere Mere Sapne” (Sangli), “Lali” (Ahmednagar) and “Aphu” (Ichalkaranji). Ravindra Kulkarni and Uday Lagu (Mumbai)  Hemant Labdhe, Shivaji Shinde, Magwesh Kadam and Madhura Velankar were among the chief judges
