Two days of tabla utsav
The Maharashtra Lalit Kala Nidhi (MLKN), one of the most prestigious institutes engaged in the field of propagation of Indian Classical Music, under the able leadership of Santoor Maestro Satish Vyas, has organised a 2-day Tabla Utsav on June 14 and 15, 2018 in Mumbai. Eminent tabla exponents Anuradha Pal, Mukundraj Deo, Supreeet Deshpande and Ramkumar Mishra will perform at the Mini Theatre, Ravindra Natya Mandir, Pu, La Deshpande Academy, Prabhadevi  at 7.30 pm. Entry to the Tabla Utsav is free of cost.

Naughty 40s fantasy
Comedy yet thought-provoking Marathi drama 'Naughty 4t' seeks to throw light on aspirations, romanticism and other aspects which people fantasise and dream of in their 40s. It is a story of Ashu and Neeta, a love-married couple. After 23 years of married life, the couple has two children, who study at Panchgani. Ashu is an engineer, while Neeta works in a corporate office. Director: Sunilbhau Parab, Music: Rupesh Dudam. Cast: Vandana Rane-Jogi, Avinash Warang, Sneha Joshi, Chandrashekhar Panchal, Nitin Suresh, Sudhir Shridhar, and Sanjeev Dhuri.
 
'The Offender' set to release
Audio track of Marathi film 'The Offender – the story of a criminal', slated to be released in cinema houses on June 15, was recently launched at a function. It is a mix of horror, romance and trust. Directed and edited by Arjun Mahajan, the film cast comprises Dipti Inamdar, Dinesh Pawar Patil, Aniket Sonawane, Suraj Dahire, Shivaji Kapse, Somnath Jagtap and Lovenist in lead roles. The film has songs of two different genres. Credits: Music-Aroh, Krishna Sujit.
 
'Ziparya' music released
The music of  Marathi film 'Ziparya' based on the renowned Marathi writer Arun Sadhu's book was recently launched at a colourful function held in Mumbai. The Prathamesh Parab-starrer film is slated to release in theatres on June 22. The films had already made headlines after winning three state awards. The film is directed by Kedar Vaidya and is based on the life of people who live in Mumbai's slums. Besides Parab, the film stars Chinmay Kambli, Saksham Kulkarni, actress Amruta Subhash, Aman Attar, Devansh Deshmukh, Nachiket Purnpatre, Praveen Tarde, Vimal Mhatre, Deepak Karanjikar, and others. Music composers of the film are Sameer Saptiskar and Troy-Aarif.

'Gotya' music released
The music of  Marathi film 'Gotya',  directed by Bhagwan Vasantrao Pachore, was recently launched in Mumbai, in the presence of eminent personalities. The film is slated to be released on July 6 all over Maharashtra. There are many traditional games played in Maharashtra which give us immense joy and provide glimpses of our glorious traditions. In today's techno-savvy world, one might feel what's the big deal in these age-old games like hide and seek, marbles, spinning tops, veeti-dandu and aatya-paatya. The story revolves around  'Gotya', who is the main hero. Rishikesh Wankhede, Rajesh Shringarpure, Sayaji Shinde, Anand Ingle, Kamlakar Satpute, Surekha Kudchi, Hemangi Rao, Sharad Sankhla, Shashank Dharne and Pornima Ahire are in important roles.
