Eight decades of Vyas Vidyalaya
'Vyas Sangeet Vidyalaya' one of the oldest music schools established by veteran musicians Pt Narayanrao Vyas and Pt Shankarrao Vyas has completed 80 years of its meritorious existence. The school had Raj Kapoor and Asha Bhosle as students once upon a time. The school will celebrate the occasion by holding a festival of music and audio-visuals at the Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya, Hindu Colony on November 4 and 5 at 5.30 pm. Topnotch santoor player Pt Bhajan Sopori as well as Dr Vidyadhar Vyas will also perform at these sessions. Entry to the festival is FREE.

Marathi Ghazal Khazana
The 9th Marathi Ghazal Sammelan will be held on November 11 and 12 at the Cidco Exhibition Centre Vashi. Chief guests expected are politician Ashish Shelar, and veteran actress Ashalata Vaabgavkar. Childrens Theater Perform Classic
The Experimental Childrens theater will performed the classic PL Deshpande's character based show ‘Vyakti Ani Valli’ on October 31at Prabodhan, Borovali, in a grand opening performance in the august presence of actors like Uday Sabnis, Mangesh Desai, writer Shirish Latkar, Ramesh Bhatkar, Supriya Pathare, etc. The children performed impressions of memorable characters like Sakharam Gatne, Narayan, Natha Kamath, etc.

New play ‘Andaaz Aapla Aapla’!
A new play directed by Santoshbhau Pawar titled ‘Andaz Apla Apla’ will be debuting on November 3 written by Rajesh Kolambkar at Gadkari Rangayatan. The play marks the return of veteran actress Madhavi Gogate and talented actress Madhura Deshpande. The play highlights the difference between various characters and personalities.
