Unusual role for Subodh Bhave
Marathi cinema has a unique genre that is only seen in our films. The films that have a backdrop of ‘Tamasha’, are popularly known as ‘Tamashapat’. From the golden age of Marathi cinema in 50s & 60s to later in 70s & 80s, numerous 'Tamashapats' have entertained our audiences. The recently revealed poster of ‘Chhand Priticha’ reminds us of those classic films like ‘Pinjra’. Subodh Bhave will be seen in such a role for the first time. Along with Subodh Bhave, the film stars Suvarna Kale and debutant Harsh Kulkarni in the lead. The songs of this modern day ‘Tamasha’ musical are composed by Praveen Kunwar. ‘Chhand Priticha’ hits theatres from November 10, all over Maharashtra.
