A tribute to a legend
Pancham Nishad pays tribute to legendary vocalist Ganasaraswati Kishori Tai Amonkar on April 18, 6 pm onwards at Y. B. Chavan, Auditorium, Nariman Point. Musical Tribute will be given by Tejashree Amonkar, Milind R, Nandini B and Raghunandan P, disciples of Kishori Tai.

Music festival
The 87th Pratahswar will feature Sriram Parasuram, a Chennai-based violinist-vocalist of both Carnatic and Hindustani music who will enthrall discerning music aficionados. He will be accompanied by Vishwanath S on (Tabla) and Seema S on (Harmonium). The morning concert will be held at Kala Prangan, Pu. La. Deshpande Hall, Prabhadevi Mumbai on April 23, 2017, at 6.30 am.

Cultural festival
Bharat Sanskruti Yatra festival which will be held at Bhavan's Andheri (W), Sardar Patel College Hall, on April 22 and 23 at 6.30 pm will feature sitar recital by Nayan Ghosh, santoor by Tarun Bhattacharya, Kathak by Bichitra Mukherjee and Odissi by Amrita Das.

‘Tatwa’ to release in May
Arun Nalawade directorial ‘Tatwa’ is due for release on May 26. Singer Anuradha Paudwal who released the music said that along with a beautiful storyline, the songs have added a lot of color to the movie. “Yearning for newer experiences, each one of us should develop our individuality,” said Paudwal. The film stars Sanjay Shejwal and Gauri Konge in the lead.

Mudra Dance Festival
The Mudra Dance Festival will be held from April 20 to April 23 at NCPA. The programme includes Patra Vivartana by Dakshina Vaidyanathan, Himanshu Shrivastava and Arupa Lahiry. Conceptualized by Usha RK at Experimental Theatre, the programme will culminate with a Multi-Dance Presentation on Sunday at the Tata Theatre and a Light Workshop by Jaydeep Apte starting at 11 am to 4 pm. The Registration fee is Rs 1000.
