An evening of Marathi Bhavgeets
Ek Anandgane: Remembering Mangesh Padgaonkar, will be presented on 30th December, the first death anniversary of the iconic Marathi poet Mangesh Keshav Padgaonkar (1929-2015). This thematic presentation will showcase the gems of Padgaonkar’s poetry set to music by stalwarts like Sudhir Phadke, Shriniwas Khale, Yashwant Deo and Hridaynath Mangeshkar, and immortalised by some of the celebrated vocalists like: Lata Mangeshkar, Sudhir Phadke, Arun Date, Asha Bhonsle, Suresh Wadkar and others. The movie is directed by Pundalik Dhumal, 'Vittha', is played by actress Urmila Kanitkar-Kothare, Upendra Limaye will be seen playing a very important role.
