ICCR dance concert
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations, in collaboration with Y.B.Chavan Pratishthan is presenting Kuchipudi Dance recital by Dr.Madhuri Majumdar and her Kolkata troupe on Tuesday, 13th Dec 2016. The show will be held at Rangswar, Chavan Auditorium, 4th Floor, Bhosale Marg, Colaba, at 6.30 pm.
Benefits on Human Health and Psyche, a dance lecture-demonstration in the Odissi dance style by Dhara Gandhi on 14th December at Udaychal School, Vikhroli 9am.

Big B launches ‘Bhikari’ movie
Ganesh-gaaru Acharya has now teamed up with his old friend Sharadbhau Shelar & they both are producing a film titled ‘Swami Teenhi Jagaacha Bhikari’ whivh revolves around the sensitive relationship between a mother & her son in the backdrop of their business. The film has a cast which includes Swapnil Joshi, Rucha Inamdar, Guru Thakur, Sayaji Shinde, Milind Shinde, Kirti Aadarkar, Sunil Pal & Pradip Kabre.

Film ‘Copy’ is in progress
The principal shooting of an education issue based film ‘Copy’ is progressing in a village near Pen, in Panvel. Cast includes Milind Shinde,Kamlesh Sawant, Anshuman Vichare , Jagganath Nivangune, playing teachers who have ‘not’ been paid for months and hence resort to taking tuitions. The film is directed by the talented duo Hemant D and Dayasagar W. The film also stars Poonam, Shraddha, Pratiksha, Aarti and Vidya. The film is being readied for an early 2017 release.

An NCPA presentation Jazz It Up! - Featuring Vinay Kaushal Collective. Fender Artist Vinay Kaushal previews songs of his upcoming album Naked on a Train for the first time. The album draws from jazz, funk and classical music blended into a fusion of world music. Kaushal, an alumnus of Musicians Institute (Hollywood), has composed a daring and promising new take on today’s contemporary gripping ideologies with the simplicity of music that influenced him over the last few years. The performance will feature his five-piece collective of some of the most remarkable musicians in Mumbai and Pune. Experimental Theatre, Friday, 7 pm.
