Private education institute teams up with global universities to offer programmes

East Asia Institute of Management (EASB), a private institute of higher learning in Singapore is all set to offer a comprehensive range of available educational pathways to Indian students. EASB offers wide-ranging programmes that allow Indian students who have completed their 10th standard, 12th standard and Bachelor’s degrees, to join its preparatory programmes, diploma, advanced diploma in undergraduate and post graduate studies.

EASB’s diploma and advanced diploma programmes are designed using the UK University’s Credit Accumulation Transfer Scheme (C.A.T.S.) framework, a benchmark for credit transfer among UK universities. It has formal articulation arrangements with 30 foreign universities in UK, Australia and New Zealand that allow students direct progression into the final year of these universities, and also offers internship arrangements with over 50 hotels and other industry partners.

EASB awards a 50% Tuition Fee Grant to eligible students who are applying for some of its Master’s degree programmes. EASB diplomas are job oriented since the institute adopts a holistic education approach by proactively anticipating industry needs and trends. The focus is maintained on imparting practical know-how to students and providing students with an all round experience that goes beyond academic teaching. The teaching faculty at EASB consists of industry professionals including Daniel Ng, one of the illustrious lecturers who specialises in areas of contemporary accounting issues, financial statement analysis, management performance, corporate governance and finance.

EASB student enrollment spread across 6 major faculties, namely, Business & Management, Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Business Information Systems and Allied Health Sciences. The institute also has a preparatory school that provides English training, IGCSE Secondary, and High School programmes.
