After Salman Khan,  Bollywood actor Jackky Bhagnani yesterday joined hands with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to launch 'Kasrat' an exercise program to promote fitness among students of civic schools. Apart from Bhagnani, actor Akshay Kumar had also recently shot a four-minute long film giving out tips on how to stay healthy.

The newly designed fitness routine of Bhagnani aims to completely transform the current pattern of physical training adopted in municipal schools. The new pattern will help to garner the interest of children.

The fitness routine is for  children in the age group of 13-16 years and aims at the child’s overall development.

In recent months, it has been noticed that the civic body is roping in Bollywood celebrities to accelerate their initiatives and campaigns. Famous singer Shankar Mahadevan, too had recently joined hands with BMC to teach music in civic schools.
