Dry fish stolen from Bhayandar

Wednesday, March 14, 2018
By Suresh Golani

The thieves in Bhayander even seem to have fish on their radar. This came to light when three baskets of dry fish, worth Rs. 25,000, went missing from the weekly Sunday market in Bhayandar. A complaint in this context has been registered at the local police station by tempo driver Dinesh Vaskar (38), who ferried the baskets belonging to three female fish vendors from the coastal village in Uttan, to the market in Bhayandar on Sunday, only to find them missing a couple of hours later. The police are investigating the matter.
