BJP leader Vinod Tawde stated that the expose will touch upon how the MNS chief got maximum TRP ratings in Pakistani media after his controversial remarks post Balakot surgical strike

After having let Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray have a field day in campaigning against them, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is planning an expose on the last day of campaigning on April 27.

Disclosing this to newspersons here yesterday at state BJP headquarters here, senior BJP leader and Minister for School Education Vinod Tawde disclosed that the BJP will conduct a proper expose on the MNS chief and expose the falsehood of his claims he has made so far. The timing of the expose will be made just hours before the campaigning ends on April 27 and a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's election rally at Bandra-Kurla Complex on April 26.

Speaking to newspersons the senior BJP leader stated that the expose will touch upon how the MNS chief got maximum TRP ratings in Pakistani media after his controversial remarks post Balakot surgical strike. Tawde remarked that the MNS chief was a hero in the Pakistani media for his remarks. Commenting upon the alleged expose done by MNS president Raj Thackeray at his election rally yesterday, the senior BJP minister clarified that the BJP has no relations with the photograph posted on the Facebook wall of Pakistan Defense. He said that the post pertained to a news report appearing in the New York Times related to how the urban middle class had prospered.

Tawde disclosed that the expose will counter the claims made by the MNS chief regarding the digital village Harisal, the 'Laxmi Darshan' of MNS office bearers in Aurangabad accepting cash from Congress Lok Sabha candidate.

Replying to his plea to the Election Commission of India (ECI) raising questions over the MNS chiefs election rallies when the MNS has not fielded no candidates in the on-going Lok Sabha polls, he said that the ECI has informed him that the matter has been referred to ECI headquarters in New Delhi which shall send its opinion on it.

Commenting upon the criticism of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar regarding the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and demand for counting of 50 per cent of paper trails of VVPAT machines, he remarked that the opposition is already trying to find excuses for their impending defeat.
