Dr Bubbles' introduces new sustainable packaging bottles

Monday, October 08, 2018

After the recent plastic ban in Maharashtra, most places have moved to glass or paper packaging as an alternative. While it could be a better option for disposal, manufacturing paper or glass can still harm the environment.

The need of the hour is packaging that is sustainable and that is exactly what Dr Bubbles has come up with. The popular chain that serves the unique Bubble Tea recently introduced innovative PET bottles for packaging. The bottles are made of high quality BPA free plastic which can easily be re-used.

What’s more, customers get a cashback on the bottles too. They can reuse the bottles which could fetch them a discount or a cashback. Most importantly, these bottle can be kept in the house because they are of good quality and are BPA-free. They can even be given to children to carry with them to school.

The logic behind the idea was that Dr Bubbles wanted to come up with packaging that was sustainable. So while glass or paper may not directly harm the environment in the way it is disposed off, it is not a long-term sustainable packaging option. Talking about the new option, Adnan Sarkar, Founder, Dr. Bubbles said,“Glass or paper are alternatives to plastic but could still lead to environmental damage. Also, they are non-sustainable. So, we came up with the idea of high quality, BPA-free plastic bottles which are sustainable. This is not a one-time use plastic. A lot of environment damage was because of one-time use plastic. We are also offering cashback to customers.”
