HDFC Bank voted India’s ‘Best Managed Company’
HDFC Bank was voted the Best Managed Company in India by investors and analysts in a poll conducted by FinanceAsia, a leading global financial magazine. HDFC Bank is followed by TCS, and Hindustan Unilever in this category. The bank also ranked 1st for ‘Best Growth Strategy’. Titan and Bajaj Finance were the other corporates in the top 3. HDFC Bank Managing Director, Mr. Aditya Puri was also voted India’s Best CEO in the same survey. The Bank also ranked 2nd in ‘Environmental and Social Governance’ (ESG) behind TCS, and 3rd in Investor Relations behind TCS and Infosys.

Balaji Amines donates of Rs 50 lakh to martyred soldiers family
Balaji amines Ltd, Solapur based speciality chemicals company has donated Rs. 50 lakh to the family members of the martyred soldiers, who had laid their life for the country’s security. In their effort to support the family members of the brave soldiers, the Chairman of Balaji Amines Ltd A Prathap Reddy and Managing Director Mr. D Ram Reddy handed over the cheque of Rs. 50 lakh to the chief minister of Maharashtra  Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai on 5th March, 2019. Speaking on the occassion Reddy, said “We are proud of the brave soldiers and Indian Army who serve the country selflessly, we sympathise with the martyred soldiers and their family members. Balaji Amines and its management is committed to their wellbeing and stands with them in this time of grief.”
Dr Ashok Dhoble bags Life time Achievement award
Dr Ashok Dhoble, Honorary Secretary of the Indian Dental Association (IDA) has been awarded the Life time Achievement Award for Excellence in Healthcare at World Health and Wellness Congress & Awards” recently in Mumbai. Dr. Ashok Dhoble is a Consulting Orthodontist and a former adviser to the Department of Public Health and Medical Education, Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai, Dr. Dhoble,  is currently the Hon. Secretary General of the Indian Dental Association (IDA). A campaigner to drive the “Make in India” initiative, Dr. Dhoble has put in major efforts in IDA hosting the World Dental Shows, which provide a platform for world renowned manufacturers of dental equipment to zero in on joint ventures in India.

Children of migrant labourers get a new school from volunteers employed by the Adani Group
Adani Group employees pledged their personal funds for the education of approximately 704 children of migrant labourers in Mundra, Kutch upon recently discovering lack of schooling. Commenting on this initiative of the employees, Dr. Priti Adani, Chairperson, Adani Foundation said, “It takes a lot of commitment and inclination for an individual to improve a life outside of their community. I am proud to say that a group of our employees have stepped-up and achieved that feat on their own accord. Taking forward the Adani Group’s culture of Growth with Goodness, our employees have displayed a commendable social obligation. We are hoping that these children will dream without boundaries and grow up to play their roles in nation building and pass this nurturing attitude to the next generation.”

AEML observes 48th National safety week
Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML) organized a week long educational drive for its customers on electrical safety measures, as their contribution to the National Safety Day, observed on March 4th.  The campaign spearheaded by the National Safety Council is celebrating its 48th anniversary this year with a theme to “cultivate and sustain a safety culture for building nation”. Extending their support for the welfare of its customers, AEML announced a week long educational drive in 24 locations across their distribution division, starting March 4th to 10th 2019, where its safety team is engaging with local children and teens on electrical safety measures that are important and can make a difference to their lives.
