Vikas Rathie joins ITI MF as National Sales Head
ITI Asset Management Ltd. has appointed Vikas Rathie as National Sales Head. He will spearhead the sales and distribution function of the AMC for the mutual fund schemes spanning equity and fixed income products. Vikas Rathie brings with him around 22 years of experience in Sales and Business Development of mutual funds, insurance, telecom and logistics domains across geographies. He is a Bachelor of Engineering from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore and MBA from IMT Ghaziabad. He joins from Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management. "He brings with him enormous experience and domain expertise to provide leadership to the sales function," ITI Asset Management Ltd., CEO & CIO, George Heber Joseph said.

Canara HSBC OBC Life Insurance launches Guaranteed Income Plan
Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance Company has launched  Guaranteed Income Plan, which offers guaranteed benefits. It is a non par, non linked guaranteed income plan which offers different cash back payouts at different stages of life depending on the individual financial needs of the customer. Anuj Mathur, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance Company Limited said, "Guaranteed Income Plan is our second product after Guaranteed Savings Plan which was launched in Q3FY19. Both our insurance products are designed to offer long term benefits with regular guaranteed income, one time pay out survival benefits and sum assured in case of any untoward eventuality."

Harsha Hinduja promotes Bonsai for stress free living

Harsha Hinduja, wife of business tycoon Ashok Hinduja and Trustee, Hinduja Foundation, has inaugurated her Bonsai collection at the Bonsai Bonanza & Ikebena Exhibition in the presence of Social Activist Amruta Fadnavis and Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela. Commenting on this initiative, Harsha Hinduja said, “The Bonsai Bonanza and Ikebena Exhibition has become a ‘green event’ now and year after year, we can see how it is beautifully planted and grown. Bonsai, for me, is a meditative experience. Gardening helps us not only to de-stress but it makes us feel more connected to the Mother Earth, thus making us grounded individuals. I hope our continuous effort to promote Bonsai will inspire everyone and change the world for the better.”

IDA's Oral Cancer Awareness campaign
Bringing to a close their month long fight against oral cancer via National Oral Cancer Awareness Month and World Cancer Day between January 3 and February 04, 2019, Indian Dental Association (IDA) in partnership with World Health Organization (WHO), Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and Government of Maharashtra held a programme recently.  During its month long drive, street plays on oral cancer awareness were held by IDA at 12 different locations in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. “The event saw slew of activities held over a month to spread awareness about the ill effects of the tobacco. Students from NSS unit of two leading colleges performed street plays on the subject by leaving behind a huge impact about oral health,” says Dr. Ashok Dhoble, Hon. Secretary, Indian Dental Association (IDA).
