Warina-Aayush: jab we met - for pop-garba

SUDDEN change of film-titles owing to social controversy proves to be a bonanza blessing-indisguise, as was evident in the recent case of the blockbuster ‘Padmaavat’.

The latest to grab media-hype from this ‘shirshak-ko-fauranbadal-daalo’ syndrome is the Salman Khan production title now changed to ‘LoveYatri’, after an ethnic foundation strongly and legally objected to the former title ‘Love Ratri’, which they felt “offended Hindu sentiments.”

‘Mentor’ Salman Khan, who has launched over a dozen stars from Katrina Kaif to Sonakshi Sinha, will nowbe giving the big debut break to his own brother-in-law Aayush Sharma opposite the stunning Afghani light-eyed beauty Warina Hussain. While Aayush has this next-door boyish charm, Warina sports a royal, ethereal look. She seems to be an agile dancer even as she swings sways to garba and dandiya-raas with ‘dance-teacher hero’ Aayush in the fusion chartbusting ‘Love Yatri’ pop-songs.

The trained actress Warina seems excited yet nervous. “It’s like Aayush and I are appearing for a filmy examination that starts from (pre-Navaratri) on October 5 – but we are optimistic,” she shrugs. By the way, the movie has the Khan siblings Arbaaz-Sohail playing British (Gujju-bhai) cops.
