The effervescent star-actress Juhi Chawla was specially invited by noted Bollywood film-maker-author Jyotin ‘Dobby’ Goel as a ‘mascot’ guest to unveil his gripping action-thriller fiction novel ‘Bheem- Destiny’s Warrior’ and for reading out selected passages from the book. Interestingly, the third ’J’ at the event (after Jyotin and Juhi) was actor-director Jugal Hansraj (we still recall his endearing ‘Masoom’ moppet role) who was the moderator at the event.

Enthused author Jyotin said, “I was intrigued by the concept of using the name of the macho epic mytho-hero Bheem as the protagonist of a thriller set in the modern era. From the overwhelming responses the book is causing among readers, it is increasingly evident that I was right. Maybe in the near future, I may also convert it into a screenplay and make it into a movie or a web-series.”

In an aside, Juhi said, ”While attending a wedding, I just met the Maharani of Jaipur and she said unlike the impact of books, the power of films is such that people believe them as the ultimate truth. It stays in their mind forever, generation after generation." Asked if she was contemplating writing her autobiography, the chirpy Chawla had a gleam in her expressive eyes. “These days I am more into reading spiritual books. But yes, I am interested in publishing my autobiography where my fans and readers know me in my true colours and also my close encounters with life and death, with laughter and tears. But not so soon, one needs that much time, discipline and focus. But it will happen someday,” signed off the glib The ‘Gulaab Gang’ heroine also feels that people should be more sensitive towards female artistes and not threaten them.
