As far as I have experienced, eating out in an above average restaurant in Mumbai is quite heavy on the pockets and sometimes the quality is poor. In my opinion, restaurants should never compromise on the quality and hygiene of the food.”

O:h Cha launches a brand new Pan Asian Menu
To celebrate the auspicious year of the Monkey, o:h cha has introduced a new pan Asian menu. “After successfully serving authentic Thai cuisine for over a year, we finally decided to expand our flavours and textures. At o:h cha, we believe in maintaining and setting new standards of quality, as well as experimenting with food while still keeping the dishes as authentic as possible. And so we are adding the Pan Asian cuisine to the menu,” owner and chef Rakesh Talwar tells us. Customers will have the opportunity to dine on some authentic specialties. You can choose from a wide array of dishes for this occasion and stay rejuvenated through the 5-course meal.

Try the new Maharaja Mac!
As part of their 20th anniversary celebrations, McDonald’s is reinventing one of their core offerings — the Maharaja Mac, which will now be available in vegetarian and non-vegetarian variants. The vegetarian Maharaja Mac (starting at Rs 145) includes a rich and crusty cheese corn patty, vegetable cocktail sauce and a generous sprinkling of jalapeno, cheddar cheese and iceberg lettuce. The Chicken Maharaja Mac (starting at Rs 160) consists of a flame-grilled whole-meat patty sourced from the leg, breast and thigh along with fresh salad and Habanero sauce. Smita Jatia, managing director of McDonald’s India West & South, tells us, “We aim to offer our customers choices in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. This year, we are focused on expanding our menu by introducing items that add variety and are in line with a range of tastes and preferences.”
